Summary :

This report provides an in-depth analysis of the deep water/floating rice systems in the Chao Phraya delta. This includes a characterisation of the rice systems (varieties, level of intensification, etc.), an accurate study of water management in all the drainage units over the past years and gives way to proposals for the improvement of flood management and the intensification of these systems. Primary data include 800 hundreds spots of observation/survey, integrated within a GIS with a digital Elevation Model and satellite imagery.
